What is Acacia Wood?
As one of the world’s fastest growing exotic hardwoods, acacia is the smart, sustainable choice. Supremely durable and robust, the wood is rich in natural oils to help it stay strong over time and comes treated with a food-safe natural oil to bring out its beautiful grain.
Acacia is a type of wood that is derived from the acacia tree, native to Australia, which are now also found in Asia, the Pacific Islands, Africa and parts of the Americas.

Much consideration has been taken when designing the Berden board.
We know healthy cooking is important, and that is why we have carved channels to drain away meat juice into the well, which sits in the corner of the board. This is also handy when carving, as the channels also divert grease from the meat, reducing slipping whilst in use, making this board safe, too.
