Cole & Mason Truffle Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Eat our Truffle Extra Virgin Olive Oil with a creamy mushroom risotto. Earthy porcini. Salty blue cheese. Smooth arborio rice. And a generous swirl of this oil after dishing up, so the aroma comes to the table with you. A classic combination. But classic for very good reason.
Try using it as a decadent finishing touch. Lightly dress something as simple as a bowl of hot, salty popcorn to turn them into more of an indulgence. Or use a small amount as a dressing on a warm, autumnal salad. Truffle gets on well with ingredients like mushroom, pumpkin, bacon and toasted nuts.
Our mild and buttery olive oil comes from the Catalan olives of Lleida, harvested in their autumnal prime. We work with the fourth generation of an olive-growing family, but olive trees have dotted the landscape since Roman times.
We use cold infusion to combine it with white truffle. Less earthy than black truffle, it gives a more subtle, garlic-like flavour.
