Cole & Mason Lemon Black Pepper
Eat our Lemon Black Pepper with a basket of chicken wings. Mounds of golden fried chicken wings, dusted with lemon black pepper. The tartness of the lemon brings a freshness to the chicken, while the pepper adds a blast of heat. For a healthier option, toss chicken thighs in lemon juice, lemon pepper and olive oil, then roast in the oven.
Why not try stepping up your homemade fries. Cut russet potatoes into wedges or fries and sprinkle with olive oil, lemon pepper and parmesan. Bake until golden brown. Or give white fish, like tilapia, some extra heat and fragrance.
It’s unclear where lemon black pepper came from. But both the lemon and the black peppercorn originated in India. So perhaps that’s where they were first combined as a seasoning. Both lemon zest and black pepper are used in several Indian dishes.
