Cole & Mason Chilli Powder
Eat our Chilli Powder with a chilli con carne. A classic midweek dinner - for a reason. Plump kidney beans, atop chilli-infused minced beef and fluffy plain rice. Or add some kick to spicy chicken skewers and serve with a fresh, soured cream sauce. The cool, creamy sauce helps douse the flames of the chilli powder.
Why not try giving some kick to pulled pork. Drench succulent pulled pork in barbecue sauce and serve in a soft brioche bun with coleslaw and a little chilli pwder. Or try hotting up a grilled portobello mushroom. Cook the mushroom in a mix of chilli powder, onion, garlic and red pepper flakes for a fiery alternative to a burger.
Chilli powder is the dried, pulverised fruit of a blend of chilli peppers (usually red chillies or cayenne peppers), with added cumin seed, oregano, garlic and salt.
It's used in cuisines all around the world - from Mexican and American to Chinese, Indian and Thai. And of course, it takes pride of place in a chilli con carne.
